How do I share my photos?

Once you have installed PictureProject In Touch and set up your account, you can create photo albums to send to family and friends. If they are not currently registered and do not have the software, they will receive an email inviting them to register, download the software and start sharing photos with you. You and the people you wish to share with can set up your accounts to automatically receive albums from each other.

From the Drafts mode, choose Create New Album from the toolbar or choose File, New Album. Click on Add Pictures from the toolbar to browse the hard drive on your computer and select which photos you would like to add to this album. If you would like to add text slides, simply click Add Text from the toolbar, and you can customize your slides with text size, style, font, alignment, color and even slide background color. Once your album is complete, give it a title and add your recipients, click on Send in the toolbar, and your photos will be on their way.

Can I resend an album to other recipients?

All of the albums you send are stored in the Sent section. Click on Sent and choose the album you wish to send to others. Click on Edit to Resend in the toolbar and you will have the option to edit the album if you wish before adding your recipients and sending it on.

How do I receive photos?

When someone sends you photos for the first time, you will receive an email in your regular email inbox. You will have the option to accept the album, delete the album, always accept from this sender, or never accept from this sender. If you choose to always accept from this sender, you will not receive email notifications when they send you albums in the future. The albums will automatically appear in your PictureProject In Touch Inbox.

How do my friends and family receive the photos I send to them?

When you send someone photos for the first time and they do not have PictureProject In Touch, they will receive an email in their regular email inbox from you. They will have the option to sign up for free and download PictureProject In Touch. Once they complete the registration process, accept your album, and install PictureProject In Touch on their computer, they will receive your album of pictures in their PictureProject In Touch Inbox.

How do I print the photos I receive?

To print the photos you receive in PictureProject In Touch, you need to export the Album and use another application for printing. Nikon’s PictureProject software, included with all Nikon digital cameras, is a great option with many printing features. You can also use the print functionality of your computer’s operating system. Another option is to burn them onto a CD after you export the Album to a folder on your computer; then take them to your local photofinisher for printing. To export pictures, click on the Export button in the In mode on the tool bar.
